Dirty Smile Biography
Dirty Smile, recipients of the Best of Buffalo Music Award for "Best Original Music Act" is a 5 piece new-vintage rock band from the heart of rust belt realness, Buffalo, NY. Armed with a batch of honest songs & an infectious energy, Dirty Smile stands resolute in its pursuit of rock-n-roll greatness.
The band's hometown breeds a blue collar ethic that seeps into the music. It's palpable. They've put in the hours on the sweaty stages of the Western New York region & New York City honing their craft. Dirty Smile has also cut their teeth on the national stage in support of Weezer, Brand New, Theory of a Deadman, Craig Morgan, Dennis DeYoung of Styx, Lowest of the Low, The Tea Party and the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.
The energy of their live performance leaps from the bandstand with grand enthusiasm. It's impossible to ignore the vibrant, free flowing presence of Megan Brown at the microphone. Erik Eimiller, Jesse Raderman, Mike Suda & Gus Walters form the adept band behind Brown that sounds seasoned beyond its years; dynamic & intense with a rock soul.
Legendary Canadian songwriter & performer Ron Hawkins (The Lowest of the Low, Rusty Nails, The Do Good Assassins) produced Dirty Smile's 2015 dual single effort & mixed & mastered Dirty Smile's debut EP entitled "Love Songs for the Damned: Volume I" (2014). Their 2017 video single releases include "Strange Times", "Faceless Woman" and "S.O.S." have thousands of views on Facebook, YouTube & Twitter.
Dirty Smile found themselves on the cover of ARTVOICE newspaper in June of '16. They also won the Regional Hard Rock Rising 2014 competition (including Western, NY, St. Catherines, ON, & Erie, PA) which vaulted them into the Global battle.
